the project

Brododibecchi is a supportive, innovative, transforming tailoring project .

BdB creates unique and quality pieces : clothes are made of organic, biological and Fairtrade certified cotton, and precious waste cotton made in Italy.

We chose the modality of the short chain : it respects the work times of each part involved, without producing in excess, considering each garment as a unique and handcrafted object.

Part of the products are made in Italy in the laboratories of the non-profit organization Articolo 10which takes care of reintegrating migrant women into the labour market. The other part is carried out in the Congo, in the laboratories of the Nyota project, with the support of the Laver Saverian missionary, which enhances the teaching and training of adult men and women in the Ndosho district, in the city of Goma.

Brododibecchi is a project that carries out its activity according to the model of Circular Economy : "reduces, reuses and recycles" the highest quality fabrics.

The supply chain is in fact made up of a careful research of jersey made in Italy, recovering the leftover cotton of a Biella wool mill, and a selection of authentic African " wax " fabrics , of Congolese origin.
